Principal's Corner

Welcome, all students, parents, and community, to our 2022-2023 school year. This year will be an E.P.I.C one (Empowering Purpose In Children). I hope all of our families had a fun summer where exciting experiences were had, and lasting memories were made.  I am very thrilled about the upcoming school year! To ensure a great start for each child, the staff and I have spent time identifying successful strategies for teaching and reiterating our commitment to make Tensas Elementary an environment that reflects high expectations and opportunities for our students. Please know that we are committed to the education and success of each child and seek to cultivate a strong partnership between home and school.

Tensas Elementary is ready to welcome our students back to engage in meaningful learning experiences and continue to move toward reaching our goal. Our goal is to develop students who are ready to Read, Lead and Succeed. Our enthusiastic and committed teachers have been working during the summer in curriculum planning sessions, attending professional development, and getting their classrooms ready.  I am confident that together we will have a productive and enriching 2022 – 2023 school year!
